1KG Tire Repair for Hot vulcanized tire repair rubber

Specification: 1kg/roll;

thickness:1.5mm

1KG Tire Repair for Hot vulcanized tire repair rubber is a special raw rubber compound used in tire repair processes that involve heat and pressure. During hot vulcanization, the repair gum chemically bonds with the original tire rubber, creating a strong, permanent repair for tire injuries such as cuts, punctures, and sidewall damage.

It is widely used with tire vulcanizing machines in professional tire repair workshops to restore structural integrity and extend tire service life.

All purpose cushion gum is used to build reinforced repairs to tires, conveyer belting and other types of fabric reinforced rubber goods.

30 minutes at 280'F(138'C), 50 minutes at 260'F(127'C ). Cure Rate with 4 minutes for every 1mm Gauge.

Heat patch is used for heat vulcanizing repair(hot repair). The most suitable temperature is 145'C and heated by 3 minutes. It is used for kinds of tube repair. It can also be complementary rubber when repairing tires, and makes the repair better.

What Is Hot Vulcanizing Repair Gum?

Hot vulcanizing repair gum is an uncured rubber compound designed specifically for heat-activated tire repairs. When exposed to controlled temperature and pressure in a vulcanizing machine, the rubber compound cross-links with the tire material, forming a durable molecular bond.

Unlike cold repair adhesives or plug repairs, hot vulcanization creates a permanent repair that becomes part of the tire structure.

This material is commonly used in:

  • Tire retreading factories

  • Tire repair workshops

  • Truck tire service centers

  • Mining and heavy equipment maintenance

Key Features of Hot Vulcanizing Repair Gum

Strong Chemical Bonding

During vulcanization, the repair gum chemically integrates with the tire rubber, ensuring long-lasting repair strength.

High Temperature Resistance

Special rubber formulation maintains performance during the heating process of vulcanization machines.

Excellent Elasticity

After curing, the repaired area maintains flexibility similar to the original tire rubber.

Reliable Airtight Sealing

Creates an airtight seal that prevents air leakage and maintains tire pressure stability.

Easy Application

Can be cut and shaped easily to match different repair sizes and tire damage areas.

How Hot Vulcanizing Repair Gum Works

Hot vulcanization repair follows several professional repair steps:

  1. Damage Inspection
Identify punctures, cuts, or structural damage on the tire.

  2. Surface Preparation
The damaged area is buffed and cleaned to ensure proper bonding.

  3. Apply Repair Gum
Raw rubber repair gum is applied to the prepared area.

  4. Install Repair Patch
A repair patch or reinforcement layer may be applied.

  5. Heat Vulcanization
The tire is placed into a vulcanizing machine where heat and pressure cure the rubber.

  6. Chemical Bonding
The repair gum fuses with the tire rubber, forming a permanent repair.

Applications of Vulcanizing Repair Gum

Hot vulcanizing repair gum is widely used in repairing:

  • Truck and bus tires

  • Passenger car tires

  • Agricultural tires

  • Off-road and mining tires

  • Industrial vehicle tires

It is particularly suitable for large tire injuries where plug or cold patches are insufficient.

FAQ – Hot Vulcanizing Repair Gum

What is hot vulcanizing repair gum used for?

Hot vulcanizing repair gum is used to repair damaged tires through a heat-activated process that bonds new rubber material with the original tire structure.

Is hot vulcanization stronger than cold tire repair?

Yes. Hot vulcanization creates a chemical bond with the tire rubber, making it stronger and more durable than most cold repair methods.
